LE PHO AND MAI THU TRUNG TOP ART OF VIETNAM IN HONG KONG

We have been pointing to markets that are witnessing massive interest and Vietnamese art has been one for some years now. The sales of Vietnamese art in Hong Kong recently confirm that this market has some more catch up to make and forecast even better prices to come.
Le Pho and Mai Thu confirmed from recent sales that are now in the 300- 400,000 pounds sterling bracket and more is expected especially of Mai Thu whose small scale art is now reaching the 300-400,000 bracket. We expect it to be surpassing the 400,000 pounds boundary soon and when a major piece of art of his appears somewhere and especially in Hong Kong.
Mai Thu sold by greeksinart in 2012 for 5,000 pounds, now selling for 25-35,000 pounds
In order to point out how much prices are moving it suffices to bring as an example prices of Mai Thu in 2008 which were at about 3,000 pounds for his small scale pieces to today’s prices of at least 25,000 pounds and depending on the item to 35,000 pounds.
