CYPRIA AUCTIONS SELL GREEK ART IN NICOSIA-CYPRUS

Read Time:42 Second

SOME VERY INTERSTING PIECES IN THIS AUCTION IN NICOSIA ON 25TH NOVEMBER 2020

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF ZENETZIS WORK OF OCCUPIED KYRENIA-CYPRUS, PAINTED EITHER IN 1972 OR 1992

GREEK ART IS COMING BACK SLOWLY AND GRADUALLY BUT IT WILL TAKE A FEW MORE YEARS TO FLOURISH AND GET TO THE LEVEL OF 2000-2010. CYPRUS HAS A COUPLE OF GOOD AUCTIONS AND THIS ONE SEEMS TO BE WELL PRESENTED, WELL PREPARED AND PROFESSIONALLY RUN.

PLENTY TO LIKE IN THE AUCTION AMONG THEM KISSONERGIS AND GHIKA FROM THE TOP END OF THE AUCTION TO LESSER NAMES AMONG THEM SAKAYN, KARAYAN, MAKARIOU, CHRYSOCHOS AND ALSO A GOOD EXAMPLE OF ZENETZIS WORK WHICH WE CONSIDER A BARGAIN AT THE PRICE.

UNFORTUNATELY WE CANNOT COPY THEIR IMAGES RIGHT NOW HERE BUT IMAGES WILL APEEAR BY THE END OF THE DAY.

PETER CONSTANT
