ENGONOPOULOS HIGHLY IMPORTANT WORK SOLD FOR 682,000 POUNDS, A RECORD FOR THE ARTIST



WITH TWO RESULTS THAT PROMISE A LOT MORE TO COME ENGONOPOULOS OLD FOR 682,000 POUNDS WHILE MORALIS SOLD FOR 525,000 POUNDS.

MANY VERY GOOD PRICES FOLLOWED WITH THE TOP GREEK NAMES IN ART PERFORMAING WELL AND VERY WELL. GHIKA DID WELL, PAPALOUKAS DID WEEL, PRASINOS SOLD VERY WELL, AKRITHATKIS HAD A C ACOUPLE OF VERY GOOD RESULTS, VOLANAKIS OF COURSE, SPYROPOULOS, FASSIANOS ETC.

IT WAS AN ENCOURAGING SALE WHICH ON FIRST GLANCE MUST HAVE SOLD 67% OF THE LOTS. HOWEVER, THE MOST IMPORTANT FACT IS THAT THE SALE ACCUMULATED NEARLY TWO MILLION POUNDS.
