I met Andreadis in late 2003- early 2004 through a friend in Athens and after I saw a couple of his figurative paintings in my friend’s gallery. Meeting him in his studio was memorable for one thing. It was packed with paintings surrounding Antonis and his easel. He looked minute but had sharp, penetrading eyes examining me and assessing myself.
I liked his work, I liked the way he talked to me and the art graduate, now an accomplished artist, was to paint for me, the Cyprus people I so much wanted to have in my collection. He was to paint part of myself, my people. By September 2004 Andreadis painted six magnificent canvases for me which I cherish.
