ZENETZIS IMPRESSIONIST ART IN 2004 ATHENS OLYMPICS

The world of Impressionism celebrates 150 years since the launch of Impressionist art in Paris. Major exhibitions are mounted all over France celebrating the masters of Impressionism with exceptional early works by Monet, Renoir, Pissaro, Degas etc.

When an artist produces something exceptional and unique the world looks into that piece of art, whatever that might be and marvels at it. Zenetzis made a good name for himself because he painted very good impressionist art at the end of the 20th century and the first four years of the 21st.

Zenetzis painting on the Acropolis on 25th August 2004

The paintings Zenetzis produced between 2000-04 stand out because of the subject, Athens and its Antiquities, and the time they were produced as well their immaculate impressionist style. They are unique in many respects compared to his earlier work but more unique and more historical are the Magnificent Seven series of painting he painted during the 2004 Athens Olympics.

UNIQUE AND UNSURPASSED IN STYLE AND TIME

Aerides, Plaka and Acropolis with Erechteion Beyond, painted 18th August 2004

Truly unique paintings of Impressionist art, painted during a historical time for Greece and en plein air and on location. No other artists during this time of the Olympics 2004 were seen painting Athens Antiquities. These paintings are indeed historical and this group of paintings justifiably are called Magnificent, Unique and Historical!!

These incredibly unique seven paintings will be presented in a new publication by greeksinart entitled ” Athens Antiquities-Olympics 2004″

Enjoy a couple of these unique paintings which immortalise Athens Antiquities like no other artist did in 2004.
