LAST YEAR WAS THE YEAR WE ALL TRADED ON THE NET
WHETHER YOU SUCCEEDED OR NOT IS NOT THE ISSUE HERE. WHAT IS THE ISSUE IS WHETHER YOU LANDED A BARGAIN OR NOT.
In all honesty we chased a few good items but the effort proved to be futile. Anything that was relatively low estimated reached and surpassed its estimate by a good percentage. That of course does not stop us believing that a bargain is hidden somewhere for us to alert you and get on with it.
The internet has made the art business an open field where the knowledgeable are now replaced by computer buttons and stored data of mega companies operating on profit and subscriptions. That is the new reality which like it or not is a fact of life. However, experience, they eye and what is trendy is still the work of experts and those who have the eye to see deeper in art.
BARGAIN ALERTS CONTINUE
We are continuing our quest for bargains and hoping that we will alert you to some good pieces that will reward you for you efforts and ourselves as the ones who alerted you to that. The new season starts in September and we will start our monthly alerts of two or three bargains with that.

FRANK HENRY MASON, A PAIR
This looks an interesting and desirable pair of oils by the master of the sea Mason. The size is small but being a pair makes them so much more valuable. At £500 the low estimate we see them being a bargain purchase and investment.
