Mastoras represents the younger generation of artists of the 1950s who painted in traditional, classical style.
His Still Life compositions of flowers and fruit as well as figurative paintings are of the highest quality, much admired and collected.
The Red Anthurium in this composition is superb and dominates a large canvas indicating passion, love, romance and joy, all of which together bring us happiness.
